ملخص الوظيفة

A Procurement Officer is responsible for managing and executing the complete procurement lifecycle for civil MEP and fit-out projects. The role involves vendor management sourcing negotiation and ensuring timely availability of materials in alignment with project requirements while maintaining compliance with company policies and cost efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute procurement activities for Civil MEP and Fit-Out projects.
  • Handle end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing quotation evaluation negotiation and purchase order issuance.
  • Maintain accurate and updated procurement records in ERP systems.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers engineers and site teams to understand material specifications and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors for better pricing and timely delivery.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are in compliance with company policies procedures and UAE regulations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality cost and delivery timelines are met.
  • Manage Open LPOs (Local Purchase Orders) and Close LPOs effectively.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure smooth material delivery to project sites.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies to optimize project budgets.


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials MEP systems and fit-out specifications.
  • Understanding of project execution strategies and procurement planning.
  • Proficiency in ERP software for procurement tracking and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in managing LPO cycles (Open & Closed LPOs).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word Excel).
  • Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
