Permanent full-time appointment for a Western-trained Consultant Physician in Internal Medicine joining a Royal Household medical structure in Abu Dhabi.
This role is not hospital-based in the traditional sense. It is embedded within a private protocol-driven healthcare environment responsible for the ongoing medical governance of a high-profile family unit.
You will be responsible for longitudinal internal medicine oversight complex diagnostics coordination chronic disease management and escalation to tertiary care when required. The role requires close collaboration with a small highly discreet multidisciplinary team including executive GPs emergency cover physicians and external specialist consultants across Europe and the US.
Clinical work is predominantly preventive and anticipatory with a strong emphasis on early detection risk stratification and continuity of care across multiple residences and international travel contexts.
This is a low-visibility high-accountability position where clinical judgement discretion and stability of decision-making are critical.
Requirements
Recognised medical degree from UK Ireland EU USA Canada Australia or New Zealand
Board certification / CCT or equivalent in Internal Medicine or General Internal Medicine
Minimum 812 years post-specialisation experience
Prior experience in private medicine VIP care executive health or high-complexity outpatient/internal medicine
Strong diagnostic reasoning and ability to manage multi-system chronic conditions
Fluent English essential
High discretion and ability to operate in confidential environments
Willingness to be based in or relocate to the UAE
