Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Title -Junior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team in Dubai.

This role combines hands-on office infrastructure support with cloud and DevOps operations. The selected candidate will work closely with an experienced remote DevOps Expert and collaborate daily with an international engineering team.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who already understands modern cloud and DevOps fundamentals and wants to grow into a mid/senior DevOps role while working on real production environments.

Responsibilities

Office & Local Infrastructure

• Maintain office IT infrastructure including internal office network CCTV systems and electronic access control
• Support laptops networking devices VPN connectivity printers and other office equipment
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes for employees
• Cooperate with remote technical teams to troubleshoot local infrastructure issues

Cloud & DevOps Operations

• Support daily operations of AWS and Azure environments
• Assist with infrastructure maintenance deployments and monitoring
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting activities
• Work with Kubernetes-based environments and containerized applications
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Support infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows

Requirements

Must Have

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and DevOps concepts
• Familiarity with Linux environments and command line tools
• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Willingness to learn modern DevOps tooling and cloud architecture
• Good problem-solving skills
• Communicative English
• Ability to work independently and within a distributed remote team

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Basic Kubernetes knowledge
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Terraform Helm or GitHub Actions
• Understanding of monitoring/logging systems
