HVAC Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of HVAC systems to uphold safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various HVAC systems.

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning systems.

• Install new air conditioning systems according to specifications and safety guidelines.

• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and maintain service records.

• Adjust system settings to optimize performance and energy efficiency.

• Replace or repair faulty parts like compressors, motors, and thermostats.

• Check for gas leaks, recharge refrigerants, and utilize appropriate tools.

• Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained for effective operation.

• Adhere to safety standards and building codes at all times.

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.

• Collaborate with supervisors and team members for major repairs or installations.

• Provide insights for system enhancements and replacements.

Requirements & Skills:

• 2-7 years of relevant experience in HVAC systems maintenance.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Hands-on experience in operating and repairing HVAC equipment.

• Strong knowledge of piping and modifications for cooling systems.

• Ability to work at a Journeyman level in HVAC and refrigeration.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship.

• Willingness to tackle varied tasks and support other teams when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC certification.

• Experience working with different types of HVAC systems.

• Knowledge of energy management and environmental regulations.
