Responsibilities:

Ensure consistent plant availability through flexible staffing and operational readiness.
Operate overhead cranes in compliance with safety and operational specifications.
Prepare operate and safely tap electric arc furnaces to achieve optimal melting and production outcomes.
Manage ladle furnace operations to properly prepare metal charges for continuous casting.
Inspect refractory linings and prepare ladles for tapping ensuring structural integrity and safety.
Prepare casting strands at the continuous casting line according to established procedures.

Requirements

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in steel production metalworking rolling mills or foundry operations
Demonstrated knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and equipment operation
Proven ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to recurring operational workflows
Physically fit and capable of performing demanding tasks in a high-temperature industrial environment
