About the Organisation

A leading industrial paper manufacturing facility located in Abu Dhabi UAE this organisation is the first and largest producer of printing and writing paper in the GCC and MENA region. Operating across a 250000 sqm industrial site the facility produces high-quality uncoated woodfree paper reels folio-size paper and cut-size finished goods with an annual production capacity of 325000 metric tonnes. The organisation exports its products to over 50 countries across six continents and operates in full compliance with global environmental standards sourcing pulp exclusively from certified sustainable forests.

Role Overview

We are seeking reliable and physically fit Helpers to support daily plant operations and maintenance activities. The role involves assisting skilled tradespeople technicians and engineers across various functional areas within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and engineers with day-to-day maintenance and production tasks
• Carry load and unload materials tools and equipment as directed
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties within the plant and surrounding areas
• Support the safe disposal of waste materials in accordance with site HSE guidelines
• Operate basic hand tools under direct supervision
• Follow all site safety rules PPE requirements and permit-to-work (PTW) procedures
• Assist during planned and unplanned maintenance shutdowns
• Report unsafe conditions or near-miss incidents to the supervisor immediately

Requirements

• Minimum secondary school education
• Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing or construction environment preferred
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in an industrial setting
• Willingness to work in shift patterns including nights and weekends
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
• Ability to follow instructions in a multilingual work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a paper mill factory or process plant
• Basic First Aid awareness
