We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager with strong construction or demolition industry experience to oversee the companys financial operations and support strategic business growth.
Job Summary
The Financial Manager will be responsible for managing all financial activities of the company including budgeting forecasting reporting cash flow management project costing and compliance. The ideal candidate must have previous experience within the UAE construction industry preferably demolition or heavy civil works and possess strong knowledge of project-based accounting and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the companys overall financial operations and accounting functions.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports and statements.
Develop and monitor budgets forecasts and cash flow projections.
Oversee project costing job profitability analysis and cost control measures.
Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations VAT requirements and audit standards.
Manage accounts payable receivable payroll and banking relationships.
Monitor financial performance of ongoing demolition and construction projects.
Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to track project expenses and revenues.
Lead annual audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
Implement and improve financial systems controls and reporting procedures.
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
Professional qualification such as CPA ACCA CMA or CA preferred.
Minimum 3 years of financial management experience in the UAE.
Mandatory experience in construction; demolition industry experience highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control.
Experience with UAE VAT regulations and financial compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong analytical leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with demolition dismantling or heavy equipment companies.
Knowledge of contract management and construction commercial practices.
Experience handling large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
