What Will You Do
As an Estimation Engineer specializing in Fire Protection you will play a crucial role in delivering budgetary proposals and preparing competitive bids that meet customer requirements during project planning and execution stages.
How Will You Do It
- Support Consultants PMCs EPCs and End Users by preparing budgetary proposals during the FEED stage.
- Manage and organize tender-related files quotations and associated documents.
- Conduct site surveys attend bid-clarification meetings and compile detailed reports.
- Review tender documents seek clarifications and ensure thorough understanding in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Engage with sub-vendors and subcontractors ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
- Estimate costs for products engineering labor and project management collaborating with internal teams for accuracy.
- Prepare risk registers and allocate costs where necessary ensuring stakeholder approvals are obtained.
- Submit structured proposals aligned with customer requirements and company policies.
- Participate in techno-commercial negotiations and ensure seamless project handovers to the operations team.
- Integrate accountability safety integrity and trust by ensuring all processes adhere to Johnson Controls standards.
What We Look For
- Education & Experience:Bachelors degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Fire Protection Systems.
- Technical Expertise:Knowledge of NFPA standards local codes ADNOC requirements and Oil & Gas industry practices.
- Software Proficiency:Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
- Skills & Attributes:Strong negotiation vendor management and effective communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tenders and collaborate with diverse teams.
