ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Estimator to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As an Estimator you will play a crucial role in our organisation by preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects analysing data and contributing to the overall success of our bidding process.
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects of varying sizes and complexities
- Analyse blueprints specifications proposals and other documentation to prepare time cost materials and labour estimates
- Experience in CCS Candy
- Consult with clients vendors personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
- Prepare and maintain a database of previous bids and current cost information
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost breakdowns
- Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure estimate accuracy and completeness
- Stay updated on market trends pricing and new estimating techniques
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification preferred would be an advantage
- UAE National Only
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating
- Proficiency in estimating software such as CCS Candy or similar tools
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods materials and industry standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience in cost analysis and budget preparation
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
- Familiarity with MENA region construction practices and market trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
