Key Responsibilities
Media Sales & Revenue Generation
- Drive advertising revenue by selling digital media solutions including website banner ads homepage placements newsletter sponsorships native advertising sponsored articles interviews thought leadership features and branded content campaigns.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly quarterly and annual revenue targets through strategic client acquisition and account growth.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and successfully close high-value advertising deals with global clients and agencies.
- Build customized advertising packages tailored to client objectives target audience and budget requirements.
Client Acquisition & Business Development
- Identify engage and onboard high-potential companies seeking visibility lead generation and brand awareness through our media platform.
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting referrals LinkedIn outreach industry databases events and strategic networking.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified prospects and opportunities.
- Understand client marketing objectives and position our media solutions as effective channels for audience engagement and business growth.
Account Management & Relationship Building
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with advertisers marketing leaders founders business heads agencies and key decision-makers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients helping them maximize ROI from their advertising investments.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across multiple media products and campaigns.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction retention and repeat business.
Strategic Sales Planning
- Develop and execute customized sales strategies for clients to maximize campaign performance and advertising effectiveness.
- Collaborate with editorial content design and marketing teams to create impactful advertising solutions.
- Recommend innovative sponsorship and advertising opportunities based on market trends and client requirements.
Market Research & Industry Intelligence
- Conduct ongoing research on industry trends competitor activities emerging technologies and advertising best practices.
- Monitor market developments to identify new revenue opportunities and potential advertiser segments.
- Stay informed about evolving digital marketing content marketing and media monetization trends.
Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities opportunities client interactions and revenue forecasts within CRM systems.
- Provide regular pipeline updates sales reports revenue forecasts and business development insights to management.
- Track campaign performance metrics and deliver post-campaign reports to clients when required.
Networking & Brand Representation
- Represent the company at industry conferences networking events webinars trade shows and business forums.
- Build relationships with agencies brands industry associations and ecosystem partners to expand business opportunities.
- Serve as a brand ambassador and actively contribute to the companys market presence and reputation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3 8 years of experience in Media Sales Advertising Sales Sponsorship Sales Digital Sales Business Development or Partnership Sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong experience in B2B consultative selling and relationship management.
- Excellent negotiation presentation and communication skills.
- Experience selling digital advertising branded content sponsorships or media solutions is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ownership mentality and revenue-first approach.
