As an Export Sales Manager, you will spearhead international sales for our FMCG products—margarine, edible oil, and wheat flour, with a primary focus on penetrating West African markets. Your pivotal role involves expanding our client base, ensuring operational efficiency, and strengthening our market presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead export sales growth in West Africa by fostering robust client partnerships.
- Engage with importers through various platforms like WhatsApp, email, and calls.
- Develop detailed quotes, pricing strategies, and product specifications.
- Manage export bookings effectively using the company's booking system.
- Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for streamlined shipment management.
- Prepare and organize essential export documents including invoices and bills of lading.
- Oversee payment tracking and liaise with the Finance department for seamless transactions.
- Provide weekly sales reports, competitive analyses, and market insights.
Requirements & Skills:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in export sales, particularly in the FMCG sector with margarine, oil, and flour products.
- Strong negotiation abilities and effective communication tailored to West African clients.
- Profound knowledge of African import regulations and documentation prerequisites.
- Proficiency in logistics operations, container bookings, and shipment coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Certification in International Trade or Export Management is a plus.
