Assistant Purchaser

Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Purchaser in identifying and sourcing reliable suppliers for various products and services. - Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions. - Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. - Maintain accurate records of all purchases and contracts. - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment. - Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidance. - Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying areas for improvement. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions. - Handle any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field. - 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. - Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with procurement software. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Attention to detail and ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. - Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations is preferred.
