Complete control of bookkeeping of the group with uptodate PL Balance Sheet Cash flow Vendors /Customer reconciliation Statutory filing of Tax Returns and related compliance matters

Take charge of Group MIS and develop and publish meaningful MIS reports as per group requirement

Streamline ERP in the group and Implement MIS tool for management Dashboards etc

To support FD for Budget strategy and related analysis for decisionmaking and planning. Reporting of financial performance maintaining effective controls over the company s financial processes develop Finance SOPs prepare financial statements management information and budgets for the Group


Key Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

Manage the timely preparation of the financial budget for the company

Analyse budget requirements of the business and accordingly participate in the development of the budget for the respective Bus

Work on the company s budget and control expenses of the function ensuring it stays within its operating budget


Functional Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all accounting entries are incorporated in the company accounts after they have been duly approved as per DOA .
  • Books of accounts are kept up to date to reflect all the business transactions including all reconciliation with the bankers debtors creditors and group companies
  • Ensure timely preparation and communication of periodic financial reports
  • Ensure effective preparation. monitoring and report on budget variance and identify key issues and potential corrective action
  • Maintain an effective control environment over all key financial processes including budgetary controls accounting and physical control as per laid down procedures
  • Develop Finance SOPs
  • Consolidate review and provide key financial information within established timelines to the Finance Director in areas such as operating results and budget vs actual and report any issues with respect to planning and budgeting to the Finance Director
  • Monitor bank balances against the facilities to ensure that the company operates within the approved facilities.
  • Liaison Issuance and tracking of all TRs for group companies
  • To take care of VAT compliance and return filing .
  • Ensure proper insurance cover on company s assets
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly management reports
  • Manage and coordinate the external audit process including preparation of year end and interim financial statements to be produced in line and up to date with IFRS guidelines
  • Take care of ongoing financial performance of the company and provide continued visibility to management
  • Take care of financial reporting processes monitor progress against budget and involve in in dept analysis
  • Work with IT to ensure the overall accuracy completeness timeliness and usability of ERP/ system generated financial data
  • Develop cash flow tracking mechanism (including daily and cash in transit reporting) to ensure adequate liquidity across group entities
  • Design and maintain an effective control environment over all key financial processes including accounts receivable and accounts payables as well as accounting and reporting
  • Provide financial and commercial analysis for business development opportunities and other ad hoc projects including NPV and IRR calculations to support the company s decisionmaking processes


People Management Roles and Responsibilities

Handhold account teams to achieve goals and objectives set for Accounts team

Guiding and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work and ensure they are continuously developed for higher level roles



Requirements

Job Requirements

Education/Certification and Continued Education

Bachelor in commerce / CA Intermediate with at least 68 years of UAE working experience with good Hospitality /Retail brands

Years of Experience

68 years experience within Finance function with sound ERP knowledge with at least 23 years team lead role

Skills

Should have a good understanding of various accounting aspects IFRS and relevant Tax Laws

Should have sound knowledge of business principles and practices

Should have good analytical numerical and research skills

Excellent negotiations and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key accounts and Principal/stakeholders/business partners

Proficient in English language

Should be able to lead develop and motivate teams

Organizational/Planning/Research/Analytical/Critical Thinking/Problem Solving Skills
