About the Role

As the Assistant Bar Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all bar outlets. You will assist in managing day-to-day bar operations support the Bar Manager in leading and motivating the team and ensure service excellence that reflects RIUs renowned standards. What Youll Do

Support Bar Operations: Assist in managing daily bar functions ensuring smooth and efficient service across all outlets.
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experience: Maintain high standards of service and presentation ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable and personalized experience.
Supervise and Motivate Teams: Lead by example providing guidance and training to bar staff to maintain consistency professionalism and enthusiasm.
Maintain Beverage Quality: Ensure all beverages are prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards while maintaining proper hygiene and safety.
Inventory & Cost Control: Support the Bar Manager in managing stock levels controlling costs and monitoring wastage to maximize profitability.
Innovation & Creativity: Contribute to new cocktail and beverage concepts that enhance the guest experience and align with current trends.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure full adherence to health safety and licensing regulations maintaining a clean safe and efficient bar environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with F&B leadership kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction across operations.

What Were Looking For

Proven Experience: Previous experience as an Assistant Bar Manager Head Bartender or Supervisor in a luxury resort or five-star property.
Strong Leadership: Ability to inspire motivate and support a diverse team while maintaining operational excellence.
Service Excellence: Deep understanding of guest expectations in a luxury all-inclusive environment with a commitment to exceeding them.
Beverage Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mixology international beverages and bar trends with the ability to train others effectively.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail multitasking ability and strong communication skills.
Professionalism: A proactive energetic and guest-focused attitude that aligns with RIUs culture of hospitality and teamwork.
