PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Scope
To manage Multi location Contract Manufacturing partners on a daily basis
Responsibility Area
Functions
Production Plans
To prepare the data for the annual budget in terms of last year vs budget vs projections and present to the Manager
To review the actual vs budgeted cost on a quarterly basis in order to take corrective actions if any so as to meet management objectives
To identify and close 3P manufacturer in different countries when trade barriers are introduced by Government
To ensure that the 3rd party is functional from set up to smooth functioning with respect to legal / quality standards / Packaging requirements.
To finalize on 3rd party Agreement with proper SLAs and commercial requirements.
To constantly monitor project timelines through Gantt chart and escalate critical path to ensure meeting project deadlines.
To coordinate smooth transition projects due to change in regulations relaunches NPDs at 3rd party end.
To ensure the right quality product is produced as per the quality standard set by the quality department.
To interact with various stakeholders – marketing finance quality R&D and warehouse.
Follow up
Follow up with all contract manufacturers to ensure Finished goods availability as per dispatch schedule
Resolution/escalation of problems and issues faced by contract manufacturers related to company while working as per plan.
Report Generation
Generates different kinds of reports related to production output at 3rd party manufacturer end and provide to the Planning department for S&OP.
To review the cost data prepared by Finance for the Quarterly review meetings and present key reasons for variances.
Coordination
Coordination with internal departments to facilitate product availability
KPIs
Weekly dispatch adherence as per plan
Price reduction of key ingredients so as to reduce the landed cost
Reports and data presentation to the manager at proper intervals.
