Job Title: Estimation Engineer ( Landscape)
Location: Dubai UAE
Industry : Landscape
Responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for landscape and irrigation projects. This role involves analyzing drawings specifications and project requirements to determine material labor and equipment costs while ensuring competitive and profitable bids.
- Review tender documents drawings and specifications for landscape and irrigation projects
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials labor equipment and subcontractor costs
- Perform quantity take-offs for softscape hardscape irrigation and infrastructure elements
- Analyze project scope and identify risks constraints and cost-saving opportunities
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns
- Coordinate with design procurement and project teams to ensure accurate pricing
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits
- Prepare and submit tender proposals within deadlines
- Track and maintain records of estimates bids and project costs
- And carry out any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Landscape Engineering or related field
- 37 years of experience in estimation preferably in landscaping projects
- Strong knowledge of landscape works including softscape hardscape and irrigation systems
- Experience with quantity surveying and cost estimation techniques
- Proficiency in estimation and drafting software (e.g. AutoCAD Excel)
