Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise civil works related to underground cable installation and overhead transmission lines (OHL).
- Monitor activities such as excavation trenching backfilling duct installation cable laying jointing bays and route restoration.
- Oversee foundation works for transmission towers including excavation concreting and backfilling.
- Ensure proper alignment levels and positioning of towers and cable routes as per approved drawings.
- Coordinate with electrical teams for cable pulling testing and commissioning activities.
- Supervise stringing activities for OHL including tower erection conductor stringing and sagging.
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements drawings and project specifications.
- Monitor subcontractors labor and equipment at site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality of workmanship.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health Safety and Environment) standards.
- Prepare daily progress reports site logs and documentation.
- Assist in quantity measurements BOQ verification and billing support.
- Identify and resolve site issues and report progress to project management.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission line projects (132 kV / 400 kV).
- UAE Driving License is mandatory
