A leading tertiary care hospital in Dubai United Arab Emirates is expanding its neurosciences and spine surgery program and is inviting applications from highly experienced Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeons to join its multidisciplinary surgical team.

Role Overview

  • Position: Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeon

  • Location: Dubai United Arab Emirates

  • Hospital Type: Private / Government / Multispecialty / Tertiary Care (JCI-accredited)

  • Experience Required: Minimum 35 years post board certification

  • Clinical Scope: Brain surgery spine surgery neurotrauma and minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care working alongside neurologists intensivists and rehabilitation specialists.

Eligibility & Board Recognition

We welcome applications from internationally trained neurosurgeons with recognised qualifications such as:

  • American Board of Neurological Surgery

  • UK CCT / FRCS (Neurosurgery)

  • European Board Certification

  • Royal College Certification (Canada)

  • Australian Fellowship

  • Arab Board

  • MCh / DNB Neurosurgery / equivalent recognised super-specialty qualification

Candidates should be eligible for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) / Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) license conversion (full support provided).

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and surgically manage brain spine and peripheral nervous system disorders

  • Perform cranial surgeries spine surgeries tumor resections and neurotrauma procedures

  • Conduct minimally invasive and image-guided neurosurgical interventions

  • Manage complex neurological conditions including brain tumors vascular malformations and spinal disorders

  • Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care including ICU coordination

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology oncology radiology and rehabilitation

  • Participate in emergency neurosurgical services and on-call rotations

  • Ensure adherence to clinical governance patient safety and international surgical protocols

  • Contribute to clinical audits research and continuous medical education

  • Mentor junior doctors and surgical trainees
