Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated AC Technician Assistant to join our reputable client in Al AinUAE. This role is essential in supporting licensed HVAC technicians during the installation maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems across commercial and residential construction projects. The AC Technician Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient operation of climate control systems contributing directly to project success and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed AC technicians in the installation servicing and repair of air conditioning units across construction sites.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues under supervision identifying faults and reporting findings promptly.
- Handle and transport HVAC tools parts and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support the preparation and organization of work areas ensuring compliance with safety and site standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities parts usage and service logs.
- Communicate effectively with team members supervisors and site managers to coordinate tasks and report progress.
- Adhere to all health safety and environmental regulations on-site.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of temporary cooling systems during construction phases.
Requirements
- 13 years of hands-on experience in HVAC or construction support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a basic understanding of refrigeration systems electrical circuits and ductwork.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA or UAE construction safety standards.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions across construction sites.
- Valid UAE work permit and ability to obtain a work visa (assistance provided).
- Willingness to reside in company-provided accommodation.
