Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team on an urgent basis. This role is critical to the successful execution of high-quality on-time construction projects across residential commercial and infrastructure developments. As a Carpenter you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints fabricating and installing structural and decorative woodwork and ensuring all work meets stringent safety quality and compliance standards. Your expertise will directly impact the integrity durability and aesthetic finish of our projects. This is a hands-on field-based position offering a competitive compensation package including AEDAED 1500 per month accommodation visa sponsorship and comprehensive medical coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret construction blueprints technical drawings and specifications to plan and execute carpentry work.
- Measure cut shape and assemble wood plywood and other materials to construct framing flooring walls ceilings doors and windows.
- Install formwork for concrete structures and ensure structural accuracy and stability.
- Perform precise fitting and finishing of cabinetry trim and millwork to meet project standards.
- Maintain and repair tools equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere strictly to health safety and quality control protocols on-site.
- Collaborate with project supervisors foremen and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and timely project delivery.
- Report progress issues and material needs to site management on a daily basis.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes regulations and company safety standards.
Requirements
- 13 years of hands-on experience in construction carpentry within a professional setting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Skilled in using hand tools power tools and carpentry machinery (e.g. circular saws power drills nail guns planers).
- Strong understanding of wood types joinery techniques and structural framing principles.
- Ability to work at heights lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship (as applicable).
- Proven track record of delivering quality work on time and within budget.
- Excellent attention to detail problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
- Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced team-driven construction environment.
