Qualifications

Preferably more than 15 years (10 years minimum) relevant experience in the Port Engineering Industry and 5 years as a Project Manager.

BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering or Similar

Chartered Status or similar preferred

Excellent Written and Spoken English.

Project management skills and certifications.

Ability to travel within the Middle East region

Worley Consulting is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Consultant / Project Manager Ports & Marine for our Ports & Marine Service Line in the EMEA Region based in Abu Dhabi.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage studies and projects within the Ports & Marine service line

Act as Senior Consultant in delivery of Port Consulting and Engineering Services

Ensuring technical quality through implementation of best practice and continuous search for improvement

Promoting cost-reduction and productivity-enhancing initiatives

Performing site visits & inspections data gathering activities and technical evaluations that are relevant to assigned tasks and works

Participating in design review and advising on technical design and drafting issues and compliance requirements as appropriate

Support proposals preparations

Maintain Cost and Quality Control on projects in accordance with Worley procedures
