We are seeking a Lead Technician to support the execution of engine disassembly assembly and inspection tasks within a regulated aviation MRO environment. The role involves working under senior technical direction maintaining compliance with approved data promoting a strong safety and quality culture guiding junior technicians when needed and supporting task preparation to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Total Engine Management Process Support (50%)
Carry out engine disassembly assembly and inspection activities in accordance with technical and safety requirements
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with aviation quality and HS&E standards
Ethical Culture and Teamwork (25%)
Demonstrate professionalism integrity and positive teamwork
Support open communication and raise concerns regarding safety or ethical issues appropriately
Technical Skill Development and Knowledge Sharing (15%)
Continuously build technical capability through hands-on learning and practice
Support junior technicians by providing guidance and sharing practical knowledge
Task Preparation and Compliance Awareness (10%)
Assist in preparing tools materials and resources required for engine work
Monitor personal work for accuracy and compliance with technical documentation and quality requirements
Escalate issues when needed
Minimum Requirements
Associate vocational or technical qualification in Aviation Aeronautical Engineering MRO or related field
D2 authorisation in relevant processes or equivalent certification
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a technical aviation or MRO environment
Key Competencies
Solid understanding of aero engine disassembly assembly and inspection tasks
Competent using digital systems and standard maintenance tools
Strong commitment to quality safety and compliance
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
