MASON

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our construction team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Mason you will play a crucial role in our projects contributing your expertise in building and repairing structures using various materials such as brick stone and concrete.

• Prepare and mix construction materials according to specifications including mortar paste cement and slacking lime
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to plan work and estimate material requirements
• Lay bricks stones and other masonry units to construct or repair walls partitions arches and other structures
• Perform concrete work including pouring finishing and repairing
• Install and repair tiles on floors walls and other surfaces
• Conduct minor repairs to civil structures including painting and gypsum work
• Erect barricades and place warning signals around work sites to ensure safety
• Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces when necessary
• Document all work performed and materials used for accurate recordkeeping
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met efficiently
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean organized work environment

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Mason or in a similar capacity
• Proven skills in preparing and mixing construction materials
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
• Extensive knowledge of construction materials methods and best practices
• Experience in concrete work tiling and performing minor structural repairs
• Familiarity with safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment
• Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks throughout the workday
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to highquality workmanship
• Strong problemsolving skills to address unexpected issues onsite
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material calculations
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
• Valid work permit for the United Arab Emirates (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Basic English language skills; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
