ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Footwear Designer to lead the design and development of mens footwear collections. The role requires strong expertise in CAD design trend forecasting and end-to-end product development within a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative mens footwear collections aligned with brand identity and seasonal trends
- Create detailed CAD sketches and technical drawings for product development
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify emerging styles materials and colors
- Collaborate closely with merchandising sourcing and production teams to ensure design feasibility and timely delivery
- Develop mood boards concepts and color palettes for each season
- Select and source appropriate materials trims and components
- Work with vendors and manufacturers to ensure design accuracy and quality standards
- Oversee product lifecycle from concept to final production
- Ensure all designs meet commercial viability cost targets and brand positioning
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Footwear Design Fashion Design or related field
- 36 years of experience in footwear design preferably within a retail or apparel brand
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools (e.g. Adobe Illustrator Photoshop)
- Solid understanding of footwear construction materials and manufacturing processes
- Strong sense of fashion trends color theory and consumer preferences
- Experience in mens footwear (casual formal sports or lifestyle categories)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
