Product Owner (AlHilal)

The Product
Al Hilal Bank is undergoing a major digital transformation aiming to relaunch its core banking propositions and deliver modern customer-centric digital products.

The focus is on building and scaling digital banking solutions across multiple domains including:

• SME (business banking)

• Wealth management

• Mobile banking

• Retail and family propositions

This is a high-impact environment where products need to be launched fast improved continuously and aligned with both regulatory requirements and strong commercial outcomes.

The Position
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to take full ownership of digital banking products and drive their end-to-end delivery from idea to launch.

This is a highly hands-on role (not people management) where you will:

• work closely with business tech design and risk teams

• operate in a fast-paced evolving environment

• take responsibility for launching real banking products

You will be expected to hit the ground running with no ramp-up time and deliver results from day one.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle end-to-end: ideation roadmap delivery launch

• Translate business goals into product roadmap epics and user stories

• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery

• Drive product decisions using data metrics and customer insights

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business technology design and risk & compliance

• Ensure product delivery aligns with banking regulations and internal policies

• Identify and remove blockers manage dependencies and drive execution

• Continuously improve product performance and customer experience

• Support the setup and scaling of product squads and delivery processes

Your Experience

Must have:

• Strong experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in banking or fintech

• Proven track record of launching products end-to-end (not just maintaining)

• Deep understanding of banking products and digital banking ecosystems

• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance environments

• Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering business design)

• Strong Agile experience (Scrum or scaled environments)

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently

• Experience driving product decisions using data and KPIs

Nice to have:

• Experience in SME Wealth Payments or Mobile Banking domains

• Background in top-tier fintech or digital banks (e.g. neobanks)

• Experience working in high-growth or transformation environments

• Exposure to Middle East or UAE banking landscape

• Experience working with multiple squads or complex product setups
