Job Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of mechanical installations including HVAC plumbing fire protection and other mechanical systems.
- Review project specifications drawings and method statements to ensure proper of works.
- Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) quality checklists and related QA/QC documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers project managers consultants and clients for inspection and approval of mechanical works.
- Issue NonConformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs) and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure materials used at site are approved and comply with project requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor and vendor quality performance and adherence to contract terms.
- Support testing and commissioning processes of mechanical systems.
- Maintain proper documentation for QA/QC reports material submittals approvals and asbuilt records.
- Attend qualityrelated meetings and provide inputs regarding improvements and compliance.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably in the UAE/GCC.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures MEP standards and local authority regulations.
- Previous experience working with contracting companies is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC plumbing firefighting building projects.
- Familiar with international standards such as ASHRAE SMACNA NFPA etc.
- Excellent communication documentation and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office AutoCAD and QA/QC reporting tools.
- Must be presently residing in the UAE.
