Job Title: Senior Year English Teacher

Start Date: August 2025
Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Senior Year English Teacher to join our dynamic team! If you have a passion for literature language and inspiring young minds this is your chance to make a real impact. As an English Teacher specializing in IGCSE you will play a pivotal role in shaping students’ critical thinking communication skills and love for the English experience is preferable.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging challenging and interactive English lessons to senior students with a strong focus on IGCSE curriculum standards.
- Foster a love for reading writing and analysis by using innovative teaching techniques and literaturebased discussions.
- Prepare students for IGCSE examinations ensuring a thorough understanding of key language and literary concepts essay writing skills and exam techniques.
- Assess student progress through quizzes assignments and mock examinations providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the English curriculum and maintain high academic standards.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence in English language mastery.
- Stay up to date with educational developments and incorporate modern teaching strategies and technology to enhance learning outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school leadership regarding student progress and development.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching IGCSE English is required.
- Native English speaker.
- Employment stability is required.
- Qualification (one of the following is required):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (English) or
- Bachelor’s Degree in English (or a related subject) along with a valid teaching license or Diploma teaching qualification or
- Master’s Degree in English (or a related subject) with at least 3 years of teaching experience in the subject or
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a valid teaching license in the subject.
