Are you passionate about the rapidly growing technology industry and excited to join the communications team of one of the fastestgrowing tech companies in history Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join its Middle East AWS Communications team.
As a Communications Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Communications Lead for AWS in the Middle East North Africa and Turkey region in executing on integrated communications plans for AWS. This includes managing the launch process of new AWS services features programs regions customer success stories and partnerships in a way that maximizes positive coverage and awareness.
You will work closely with internal business stakeholders key partners and customers who are innovating through technology helping them effectively showcase their results. Additionally youll partner with the AWS global PR team and AWS leaders to develop messaging and plans as an integral member of Amazons communications team.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive media relations skills is an expert at writing and pitching media opportunities and can drive customer success stories.

Key job responsibilities
Maintain a strong understanding of media landscape and business environment in the Middle East
Work crossfunctionally to plan and execute PR campaigns
Enhance AWS news media relations activities and proactive campaigns
Manage newsrelated business & technology press opportunities
Identify and develop customer references for media relations and public speaking opportunities
Build relationships with key journalists bloggers AWS customers and partners
Manage a PR agency to deliver successful highquality campaigns
Experience in professional communications or public relations
Bachelors degree
Extensive experience in PR ideally in the tech industry
Strong media relationships with toptier business technology and general press
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic
Experience working with customers and partners to develop compelling stories
Deep understanding of technology and ability to communicate complex topics effectively
Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
