eSanad is a UAE-based digital insurance brokerage and insurtech platform licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE. The platform enables individuals and businesses to compare, purchase, and manage insurance policies digitally through a modern technology platform.

As we continue expanding our technology platform, we are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can help architect and build scalable systems that power the future of digital insurance.

Role Overview

The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will play a key role in developing and scaling eSanad’s digital platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong experience across modern JavaScript frameworks, backend APIs, database architecture, ERP integrations, and scalable cloud environments.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, and the leadership team to build high-performance digital solutions that improve customer experience and operational efficiency within the insurance ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Development

• Design and develop scalable web applications using and React
• Build and maintain backend services using
• Develop secure and reliable REST APIs
• Implement reusable components and maintain clean code architecture
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability

Product Development

Develop new features and modules across the eSanad platform, including:

• Insurance quotation and comparison engines
• Digital policy management systems
• Claims reporting tools
• Customer dashboards and portals
• Internal CRM and operational systems

System Integrations

• Build integrations with insurance company APIs
• Integrate with ERP systems and internal operational platforms
• Integrate with payment gateways and third-party services
• Connect with government platforms and regulatory systems where required
• Ensure secure and reliable data exchange

Database Management

• Design and optimize databases using MongoDB
• Implement efficient queries, indexing, and data validation
• Maintain performance and scalability of the data layer

AI and Automation

• Support the integration of AI-powered tools and automation
• Contribute to digital workflows that improve operational efficiency
• Participate in building intelligent automation across customer and internal processes

Engineering Best Practices

• Maintain high standards for code quality and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
• Contribute to improving development processes and engineering standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong expertise in:
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• React
• MongoDB
• Experience building scalable SaaS or platform-based applications
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Industry & System Knowledge Requirements

• Understanding of insurance products, insurance workflows, or insurtech platforms
• Experience working with ERP systems or enterprise operational platforms
• Ability to translate business processes into scalable digital solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following will be considered a strong advantage:

• Insurtech or fintech platforms
• API ecosystem integrations
• AI tools and automation systems
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Payment gateway integrations
• CRM or workflow management systems
