Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in interior fitout projects across F&B outlets luxury villas and office spaces. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in cost management procurement materials knowledge and the ability to provide accurate quantity take-offs and project cost controls.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates BOQs and budgets for interior fitout projects.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings material specifications and design documents.
- Monitor project costs and prepare cost variance reports.
- Manage procurement activities including material sourcing comparison sheets supplier negotiations and purchase recommendations.
- Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications and budget.
- Maintain updated databases of suppliers subcontractors and material rates.
- Prepare and review contracts subcontracts and commercial agreements.
- Manage variations change orders and claims in coordination with the project team.
- Support in tendering processes pricing and bid evaluations.
- Track material consumption site progress and financial status.
- Prepare periodic cost reports for management and clients.
- Support project managers with forecasts cashflow projections and commercial insights.
- Strong understanding of interior fitout materials such as finishes joinery MEP interfaces and specialty items.
- Ensure materials meet required standards and project quality specifications.
- Coordinate with designers engineers and site teams for technical clarifications.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 47 years experience as a QS within the interior fitout industry in the UAE.
- Hands-on experience in F&B villa and office interior projects is essential.
- Strong knowledge of cost control procurement and material management.
- Excellent understanding of drawings specifications and technical details.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Excel and QS software tools.
- Strong negotiation analytical and communication skills.
- Immediate availability is mandatory.
