We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our food and beverage team you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service.
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus make recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages
- Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure tables are set up correctly and maintained throughout service
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as required
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
- Adapt to rotating schedules and different sub-departments within the Food & Beverage Division as needed
Qualifications :
- Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a 4-5 star hotel environment (fresher candidates with strong potential will be considered)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Russian is a plus
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling bills and payments
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food and beverage items with the ability to make recommendations
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Team player with a collaborative attitude
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
