The American University in the Emirates (AUE) is seeking a qualified and motivated Lab Assistant to support the technical and academic aspects of laboratory classes within the College of Business Administration. The role requires ensuring smooth lab operations providing professional support to students and faculty and maintaining laboratory facilities equipment and supplies.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field from an accredited university.
23 years of relevant laboratory or technical experience in the field.
Proficiency in maintaining equipment inventories.
Strong computer literacy with working knowledge of QuickBooks software.
High regard for safety confidentiality and data protection standards in the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and conduct lab assignments under the supervision of course faculty members.
Grade lab coursework in coordination with the faculty.
Provide support to students and faculty during lab sessions and examinations.
Assist faculty members with course files administrative tasks and academic reporting.
Ensure proper organization and maintenance of lab facilities including software hardware and equipment.
Coordinate with faculty members to align laboratory activities with course objectives.
Maintain and update lab inventories in coordination with the IT Department.
Submit and recommend laboratory supply requests to the IT Department.
Prepare required reports and documentation for faculty and the Dean.
Work independently in an organized and timely manner while following faculty guidance.
Demonstrate creativity and willingness to learn and apply new techniques in computer sciences.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by faculty the Department Chair or the College Dean.
