Head of Energy Strategy Energy Transition & Infrastructure A forward-thinking infrastructure and investment advisory firm is seeking a Head of Energy Strategy to lead high-impact advisory work across the MENA region. This senior-level role will shape national energy strategies large-scale renewables programs and regulatory policy supporting the energy transition across solar hydrogen battery storage and decarbonisation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning initiatives across energy sectors (utility-scale renewables hydrogen storage grid modernization etc.).
- Engage with government stakeholders to design national energy frameworks and investment roadmaps.
- Evaluate policy implications of emerging technologies and develop whitepapers to influence regulatory change.
- Direct consulting projects involving energy transition modeling infrastructure planning and decarbonization strategy.
- Represent the company at international energy conferences and policy forums.
- Collaborate with investment and technical teams to assess feasibility of major clean energy initiatives.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in energy strategy policy or infrastructure planning preferably in the MENA region.
- Proven track record working with governments multilaterals or national energy companies.
- Deep understanding of renewable energy economics energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Degree in Energy Systems Economics Public Policy or Engineering. MBA or Masters in Energy Policy a plus.
