As the Head Waiter at Rosas Thai Restaurant you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your leadership skills extensive hospitality expertise and passion for customer service will contribute to the smooth operation of the frontofhouse and ensure that our guests have a memorable visit. You will lead the wait staff coordinate service and uphold the restaurants high service standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead train and inspire the wait staff setting a positive example of professionalism and service excellence.
  • Conduct preshift meetings to communicate expectations and objectives for the shift.
  • Ensure that guests receive a warm welcome and attentive service exceeding their expectations.
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of orders verifying that all special requests and modifications are properly conveyed to the kitchen.
  • Train and encourage the wait staff in effective upselling techniques to enhance the restaurants average order value.
  • Monitor sales data and strategize ways to increase guest spending.
  • Maintain an organized reservation system and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires focusing on service standards menu knowledge and hospitality etiquette.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to enhance the teams skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure that tables are set and presented according to the restaurants standards for cleanliness and aesthetics.
  • Implement the restaurants sequence of service to maintain a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
  • Ensure that the restaurant adheres to health and safety regulations maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
  • Oversee the proper opening and closing procedures of the restaurant ensuring compliance with operational protocols.
  • Monitor online reviews and ratings on platforms such as review websites and social media.
