We are looking for a highly motivated HR Generalist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the overall administration coordination and evaluation of human resources plans procedures policies and programs are implemented for the SIDEM employees assigned to the various projects in the area:
Recruitment and onboarding
- Lead the fullcycle recruitment process (job posting resume screening source candidates and interview coordination ..)
- Assist with visa processes and work permits for foreign staff
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure smooth onboarding process according to Group standards
- Participate to University Job Fairs in the region
- Update organization charts
Employee Relations
- Address employee inquiries and concerns providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Assist in resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive work environment
Benefits Administration
- Manage employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement calculations and other perks
- Conduct benefits enrollment sessions and answer employee questions regarding benefits
Performance Management
- Assist in implementing and maintaining performance evaluation systems
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting employee goals
Policy and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws including the new labor law implemented in 2022 and Group policies
- Develop update and communicate HR policies in accordance with local regulations and company standards
Training and Development
- Identify training needs and assist in developing materials relevant to the local context
- Coordinate training programs and workshops for employees
HRIS and Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records in the Group HRIS
- Generate HR reports and analytics as needed by the Group
Compensation
- Assist in salary surveys and compensation benchmarks in the GCC
- Support the annual salary review process
- Support the deployment of the employee shareholding plan in the region (SEQUOIA)
Employee communication
Qualifications :
- Master degree in HR or Administration
- 25 years experience in HR preferably in a generalist role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
- Previous experience in a multinational company is a plus
- Strong international focus and crosscultural awareness
Specific Knowledge & Technical Skills
- Excellent command of English is a must Arabic is a plus so is French for interface with Corporate HQ
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Autonomous resultsdriven time efficient responsive and hard worker with the ability to prioritize and cope with important workloads. Maximum flexibility and availability due to the multitask nature of work);
- Ability to relate effectively with all levels of the hierarchy;
- Team spirit;
- Computer literacy in Google Workspace;
- Business ethics discretion and honesty.
