We are seeking a visionary and resultsdriven Director of Operations to join our dynamic team at Delano Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our executive leadership you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the overall operations of our organization ensuring excellence in service delivery financial performance and team management.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments ensuring efficiency quality and compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Analyze financial data prepare budgets and manage resources to optimize profitability while maintaining service excellence
- Lead mentor and develop highperforming teams fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and enhance operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with other executives to align operational strategies with overall business objectives
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to streamline operations and increase productivity
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of service quality and addressing any issues promptly
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions adapting strategies as necessary to maintain competitiveness
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers partners and clients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in operational activities
Qualifications :
- Proven experience (minimum 23 years) in a senior operational management role preferably in the hospitality or service industry
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of financial management and performance optimization
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire motivate and develop highperforming teams
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively
- Proficiency in budget management resource allocation and cost control
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
- Experience in implementing and managing operational best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and the ability to drive innovation in operational processes
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operational management and data analysis
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
- Experience in the luxury hospitality sector is highly desirable
