Waitress

As a Waitress at Mashrou3 Tabkha Restaurant you will be the face of our establishment providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your friendly demeanor efficiency in taking orders and handling payments and ability to work collaboratively with the FOH team will contribute to creating a welcoming ambiance and leaving a lasting impression on our valued customers.

Customer Service: Welcoming and assisting customers taking orders and delivering food.

Cash Handling: Processing payments and reconciling cash.

Order Coordination: Communicating with the kitchen to ensure timely food delivery.

Menu Knowledge: Understanding the menu and making recommendations.

Upselling: Promoting additional menu items to increase sales.

Table Maintenance: Keeping tables clean and organized.

Delivery Handling: Packaging and dispatching delivery orders.

Guest Satisfaction: Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing concerns.

Teamwork: Collaborating with other staff members.

Adaptability: Handling changes and challenges professionally.

Operational Procedures: Following morning setup and closing procedures.

Safety Compliance: Adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

To be successful as a Waitress you should possess:

• Strong interpersonal skills: To interact with customers effectively.
  
• Cash handling experience: To handle payments accurately.
  
• Menu familiarity: Knowledge of Thai cuisine is a plus.
  
• Adaptability: To work in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Teamwork: To collaborate with colleagues.

• High school diploma: A basic educational qualification.
  

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Culinary education or relevant stock certifications are a plus. Previous experience as a kitchen Commis or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary establishment is advantageous. Knowledge in Asian/Thai Cuisine is an advantage Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and cooking methods is desirable. Passion for food and a strong willingness to learn and grow in a culinary career. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with the kitchen team and effectively take direction from supervisors. Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry heavy objects as required in a kitchen environment. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment. Valid food handling and safety certifications are a plus.
