The Business Development Manager in Catering is responsible for identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining client relationships and driving revenue growth in the catering division. This role requires a proactive approach to sales excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the catering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the catering market.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends customer needs and competitive landscape.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth by securing new contracts and expanding existing accounts.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profitability.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the catering operations team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to the senior management team.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Attend industry events trade shows and networking opportunities to promote the catering services.
Requirements
