Legal Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the allinone legal expert for our company possessing a thorough understanding of contract drafting financial documents with banks business houses and exchange houses. This role requires expertise in international remittance financial business setup and the creation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) license agreements employee offer letters and NonDisclosure Agreements (NDAs). Additionally the Legal Consultant will be responsible for setting up new entities and subbranches for our group of companies.

Responsibilities:

• Contract Drafting and Review:
  • Draft review and negotiate various types of contracts including commercial agreements financial documents and contracts with banks business houses and exchange houses.
• Financial Documents and Compliance:
  • Ensure all financial documents comply with legal standards and regulations.
  • Advise on legal implications of financial transactions and business operations.
• International Remittance and Financial Business Setup:
  • Provide legal guidance on international remittance processes and regulations.
  • Assist in the legal aspects of setting up financial businesses ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
• Entity and SubBranch Setup:
  • Oversee the legal processes involved in setting up new entities and subbranches for the group of companies.
  • Ensure all legal requirements are met for the establishment and operation of new business entities.
• Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and License Agreements:
  • Draft review and negotiate SLAs and license agreements.
  • Ensure agreements protect the companys interests and comply with applicable laws.
• Employee Offer Letters and NDAs:
  • Prepare and review employee offer letters and NDAs.
  • Ensure legal compliance and protect the companys confidential information.

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution.
  • Masters degree in Law (LLM) or related field is preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Consultant or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in contract drafting financial documents and legal compliance.
  • Experience with international remittance and financial business setup.
  • Experience in setting up new business entities and subbranches.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
  • Excellent drafting negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations to complex business scenarios.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and legal document management.
