audax means courage. To have the courage to change the banking scene eliminating constraints caused by existing legacy infrastructure. Our mission is to empower banks and financial institutions to scale and modernise at speed reaching new customers without breaking the bank.

We began our journey supplying services to and powering Standard Chartered s whitelabel plug and play BankingasaService (BaaS) solution Standard Chartered nexus through our technology capabilities. At audax we seek gogetters who are hungry for growth and can bring fresh perspectives.


What you will be doing:


Our Director Sales plays a critical role in driving our company s growth by formulating an executing an effective gotomarket to penetrate and grow the MEA market.

  • Winning new customer projects with financial institutions ensuring the achievement of significant new revenue growth targets.
  • Creating partnerships with SI s Management consultants cloud providers and adjacent technology players.
  • Engage and advise with regulators
  • Be the face of audax in the region
  • Thought leadership speaking at regional forums and events
  • Recruit a high performing team to support our growth in the region
  • Day to day the successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Manage the entire sales cycle
  • Work closely with Head of Commercial in developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan to target and win new businesses within the banking sector.
  • Identify and engage with key decisionmakers and stakeholders at prospective client organisations to understand their pain points and present our compelling solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within target banks to drive sales and partnerships.
  • Providing guidance and support to cross functional team including marketing product development and customer success to ensure alignment and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends competitive landscape and customer needs to develop creative solutions for new bank partnerships
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts reports and progress updates to executive team
  • Present to prospective banks: Value proposition system demonstrations manage technology workshops and business case construction
  • Partner with sales engineers professional services and marketing teams


Requirements

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Finance or a related field
  • 10 years of Sales and Partnerships / account management in financial technology/consulting space
  • Proven track record of success in sales specifically in the banking as a service space
  • Strong network relationships within the banking industry in the MEA region
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a bigger team (cross functions) to achieve business goals
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on driving results that are aligned with business strategies and goals.
  • Proficiency in presentation skills CRM software and technically savvy in their jobs.
  • Rigor discipline and structure in all customer engagements and internal governance


We are also looking for:

  • Understanding of banks and the issues they face ranging from technology regulatory and commercial
  • Tenacity in lead generation and customer follow up
  • Interest and excitement regarding Financial Services and Technology
  • Consistent track record of achieving targets and goals
  • Excellent communication negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills
