Requirements
- B.Sc. degree in either Quantity Surveying or Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical discipline with Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
- Post graduation in Construction/Contract management is a must.
- Professional Member of RICS/AIQS is preferable.
- Working knowledge about MEP construction industry.
- Experience of FIDIC based Contracts.
- Experience in Quantity Takeoff Estimation and BOQ preparation
- Experience in Interim/Progress Payment Application preparation along with handling of Subcontractors Payments.
- Experience in handling of Contractual Variations/ Change orders (should be conversant with compliance of notification obligations Preparation of VOs ratebuild ups substantiations and negotiations).
- Ability to identify Claims and timely notification.
- Knowledge of different types of contractual claims including EOT Prolongation Cost Suspension and LD.
- Preparation of Forecasts budgets & cost control measures.
- Knowledge of Project cost data Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
- Experience in contractual correspondence. Negotiation skills.
- Good command in English as a working language. High level of Computer Literacy.
- Ability to maintain structured document system.
- Selforganized and ability to work without direction. Ability to meet deadlines.
- Work experience: 7 to 10 years minimum.

Should have Installation Experience for Large Commercial / Residential Projects. Minimum of 3 years, Gulf Experience preferable. Should be well conversant with ISO documentation. Should be capable of independently handling all aspects of QA/QC requirements of large building services projects. Should be capable of reading and understanding the MEP drawings. Should be capable of assisting QA/QC Engineer for implementation of QA Plan, QA/QC Procedure, Method statements, ITPs and Check list of the Project. Must be capable of preparing and updating QA / QC documentation based on ISO and project requirements, preparing method statements, ITPs and carrying out site inspections, all issues pertaining to health & safety requirement of large project sites. Fluency in English is a must. Computer literacy is essential. Gulf driving license would be an advantage.
