Executive Director - Information Security Operations (UAE National)
Lead the development of the sectors strategic objectives, including leadership of harmonization and implementation of related areas of cooperation, information sharing, policies and advisory procedures in digital security. Lead the development of the digital security strategy and support the development of a strong digital security system in this area (from startups to large companies) to meet the current and future needs of digital security in government agencies.
- Leading the development of strategic objectives and plans for the sector in line with the strategy, vision and mission at the level of the entire organization system
- Overseeing the implementation and achievement of the sectors strategic objectives and objectives
- Directing the preparation, allocation and use of the sectors budget and exercising control over expenditures when needed
- Review all periodic sector performance reports, provide recommendations and guidance when needed to enhance sector performance
- Monitoring key performance indicators of the sectors operations and employees and recommending improvements in line with strategic objectives at the full authority system level
- Take responsibility for shaping the sectors workforce by determining the number of employees to be available and the ability to achieve the strategic objectives and plans of the sector
- Support for professional development by providing effective feedback and evaluating the performance of employees in the sector
- Support efforts in aspects of cooperation, innovation, design thinking and improving current processes at the sector level
Requirements
Academic qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, IT management, software engineering or any other relevant field, and at least one professional certificate ( e.g. Security Information System and Event Management (SIEM), CSOCA Analyst, COMPTIA, CCNP or others)
Professional experience
Experience in digital security or any other related area in excess of:
- Over 11 years with bachelors degree
