About Shade Beauty Center
Shade M is a halal certified, PETA approved vegan and cruelty free makeup brand that embraces and celebrates cultural diversity and self-expression. With the mantra “I AM MY OWN SHADE”, Shade M encourages women of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities to be proud of who they are and express themselves through a combination of beauty and art. Co-founders Nour Khalife & Jolie Nubani met while working at L’Oreal. Coming from mixed ethnic backgrounds they were frustrated with the narrow scope that the industry had to offer for women of multicultural backgrounds in both product offering and visual representation. They turned to the community and heard the voice of so many who had the same feelings and need for a brand that was made with them and for them. Shade M is developed and designed hand in hand with its Muses, they are the driving force behind the brand creation and ongoing inspiration.
