Position Name: Senior Consultant

Description:

• In the role as Senior Consultant, you will work to deliver the cutting-edge solutions and services to our customer in Japan and have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
• Lead the solution design and architecture of company's solutions for Banking and Financial services accounts in Japan
• Analyse business and IT challenges and design a comprehensive solution that integrates smoothly
• Provide strong techno-functional consulting and support for new opportunities
• Work with other Architects to ensure enterprise and cross-program architectural cohesion
• Perform the competitive analysis of medium/high complex products, frameworks and technologies to define technology solution in a pursuit
• Participate in discussions with customer as technology SME and articulate the value delivered by proposed technical solution and negotiate NFRs for medium/high complexity projects
• Provide techno-functional consulting
• Maximize re-use across programs and projects
• Mentors and coach IT team
• Provide inputs on NFR & QoS parameters and prepare Enterprise landscape for subsequent execution
• Provide performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Lead small teams to execute the deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 8 years of industry experience.
• At least 6 years of strong hands on experience in development and consulting projects in Banking and Financial services domain.
• Experience in implementing at least one of the below solutions.
• Core-Banking/Channels/Payments/Wealth-Management/Regulatory-reporting/AML
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese (N2 or higher)
• Strong customer communication and coordination capabilities.
• Strong understanding of various software development life cycle models and phases.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in Digital Transformation.
• Experience on cloud migration or legacy migration projects.
• Experience on proposal writing
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
