- Initiate and review configuration changes such as from an asset whole of life perspective and leads configuration management process continuous improvement initiatives.
- Liaises with systems engineer to work on the established solutions for optimal life-expectancy of SAR’s assets.
- Responsible for the maintenance plans, management of critical complex failures, monitoring of modifications and maintenance records management.
- Manages rolling stock physical structures to enable optimum assignment of maintenance plans, asset tracking and on-time maintenance of the asset.
- Manages with the assistance of systems engineer the master maintenance data related to existing, new, and disposed assets to optimize data integrity and reduce any associated business risks.
