Senior Treasury Accountant

Job Description

• Monitor daily cash positions forecast cash flows and make recommendations to optimise cash utilization.
• Manage the process and present Letters of Credit (LC) Trust receipt (TR) Bank Guarantees etc.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations.
• Monitor existing debt obligations including interest payments and principal repayments.
• Prepare regular reports on cash positions liquidity investment performance and financial risk exposure.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations reporting requirements and internal policies while structuring financing arrangements and maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Identify and assess financial risks including interest rate risk foreign exchange risk and commodity price risk.
• Continuously assess and enhance treasury processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements reports and budgets.
• Providing support to internal and external auditors during audits and ensuring all documentation is available and accurate.
• Prepare reports as per the monthly schedule and ad hoc reports.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience (5 years) of relevant background in accounting and finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of banking products financial regulations and compliance requirements related to working capital financing.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance.
• Problemsolving skills and the ability to reconcile discrepancies.
• MBA CCAC (Corporate Credit Analyst Course) or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) designation is highly desirable.
