JOB OVERVIEW



Oliver Wyman Middle East is looking for highly skilled


bilin
gual Translator for a 6month contract starting in September 2023.


The ideal candidate will be a
Saudi Arabian Citizen
and have at least 2 years experience translating professional client materials between English and Arabic in a business environment (preferably in Management Consultancy or other professional services) and have good understanding of culture and language localization in the region. You will join our professional translation support function and get the opportunity to work on various industries which will help to build your career. You are also deadline driven organized and understand how people view and understand content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Professionally translating between English and Arabic business and technical documents ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained including:
Published marketing reports
Generic marketing presentations
Client proposals
Client presentations
Other internal presentations and documents

Liaising with clients to discuss any unclear points and consults with subject matter experts and project teams in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately

Researching legal technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation

Uses highly specialized translation software to encourage efficiency and consistency

Retaining and developing knowledge on specialist areas of translation

Adheres to industry quality standards to ensure that all completed work follows legal and ethical obligations
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

A citizen of Saudi Arabia

Highly organized operates well within a team as well as independently

Professional tactful and able to engage with colleagues at all levels in the firm

Keen to work in a fastpaced dynamic clientservices environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to deal with people at all levels across a multicultural environment both directly and virtually

Ability to multitask prioritise and manage ones own time

Ability to manage a heavy work volume and meet deadlines in an extremely fast paced environment.

Flexible attitude hardworking and results driven.

Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) and native in Arabic.

Ability to demonstrate strong planning and organization skills.TECHNICAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATION

Should be proficient in Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel.

Educated to Graduate level (Degree in translation/experience in the field)
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Fluent English and Arabic written reading and spoken.
