Job Description:

  • Manages the housekeeping team, including interviewing, hiring and onboarding, training, performance evaluation, scheduling, employee issues, and call-offs
  • Supervises all housekeeping employees, including in-house laundry and public area attendants
  • Address any and all concerns with AGM or GM and with employees
  • Assigns daily boards and task assignments to the team and ensures completion of hotel and guest standards through daily inspections
  • Required to clean rooms whenever necessary to accommodate hotel/guest needs
  • Maintains a lost-and-found department and is responsible for all lost-and-found items; determines the rightful owner and sends accordingly
  • Ultimately responsible for cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of the entire hotel
  • Prepares or assists with Annual Housekeeping
  • Maintain stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linens, and
  • Develop and implement Housekeeping systems and procedures
  • Attending to guest requests and resolving guest
  • Coordinating with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance of rooms and public areas

Requirements

  • Strong leadership abilities and organizational
  • Ability to drive change and look for operational
  • Minimum of 3 years housekeeping experience, including at least 1-2 years in an Executive Housekeeper
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays; will also work occasional MOD shifts on weekends
  • Strong operational and technical knowledge of cleaning standards and laundry operations
  • Hospitality or Renovation experience
  • Able to bend, reach, lift and move up to 40 pounds
