To be able to read engineering drawings and carry out the fabrication of various types/materials and modules as well as structures to pipe work. A good understanding of welding procedures and the ability to use flame cutting equipment is essential.
Duties
Liaise with the Service Center Supervisor
Ensure company equipment is Maintained in line with procedures.
Fabrication and assembly to be completed in line with issued drawings.
Repairs to be completed in line with equipment being maintained.
Ensure welding is undertaken in line with recognized standards.
Markup drawings as required where changes are identified.
Log information on job Cards in line with Job card Procedure.
Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe.
HSEQ: ensure maintenance requirements are fully understood by:
Following all company and HSE procedures
Addressing any concerns and taking appropriate actions in conjunction with company procedures
Attending monthly safety meetings with HSEQ personnel
Out of Hours Maintenance/Process Support Assistance:
Provide backup assistance to other Maintenance personnel as required.
Onshore/Oversees Process Support supporting Onshore operations:
Traveling to onshore sites to check service & repair equipment as required.
Be prepared to undertake medicals vaccinations and training as required for onshore travel.
Qualification(s) & Training
National Vocational Qualification Level 34 City & Guilds or equivalent technical qualification in a welding discipline or secondary qualification with equivalent technical experience in related field if no relevant qualification
Must have SMAW 6G Welding Certificate
GTAW Welding
MIG Welding
3G Coding
Basic Offshore Survival Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET) (P)
Experience(s) (E Essential / P Preferred):
Minimum 3 or more years of work experience in relevant field.
Fabricating various types of materials
Welding to known predetermined standards
Working with Plasma OxyAcetylene Bandsaws and Grinders
Ability to work well with staff at all Nationalities and levels
