Technical Writer

• Collaborate with the development team to understand the technical aspects of the API and its features.
• Create, edit, and maintain clear and concise API documentation that meets industry standards and best practices.
• Develop code examples, usage scenarios, and tutorials to assist developers in using our API effectively.
• Ensure that the documentation is well-structured, free from grammatical errors, and maintains a consistent style.
• Review and update existing documentation to improve accuracy and completeness.
• Update the documentation regularly to keep it aligned with API updates and enhancements.
• Work closely with the developer community to gather feedback and address their specific documentation needs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API documentation.
  

What You Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical domain
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, specifically in API documentation
• Strong understanding of software development, APIs, and related technologies
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Proficiency in documentation tools and platforms, such as Markdown, Git, DocuWare, or similar
• Familiarity with version control and content management systems
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
